Developmental Milestones are things most children can do by a certain age.

How your child plays, learns, speaks, and acts offers important clues about your child’s development. Check the milestones your child has reached by the time frame specified. Take this with you and talk with your child’s doctor at every visit about the milestones your child has reached and what to expect next.

The Northwest Child Development Center is a “developmentally based” program. This means that we monitor and assess each child’s growth and development against the developmental milestones for his or her age. We assess their development using the Teaching Strategies GOLD program which enables our staff to meet the needs of their group as well as the individual needs of each child. When you enroll your child in our center, you are taking a giant step toward the goal of preparing your child for kindergarten and a happy and successful life. To enroll your child simply click here and our Center Director, Jenn Allain will contact you.
