• Mount Wachusett Community College Child Care Centers: established and managed (10 years) (100 children enrolled) Infants/Toddlers/Preschool S.A./Certified Kindergarten/Summer Camp.

• Assisted MWCC to implement their Early Childhood Certificate and Associate Degree.

• Fitchburg State College Lab School/Child Care Center established and managed for 18 years (40 children) – moved to a new location in 2008. This center was closed 12/20/13.

• Adventure Kids, Inc Child Development Center was established and managed for more than 30 years Infants/Toddlers/Preschool/School Age/Kindergarten/Summer Camp.

• Adventure Kids After School & Summer Camp was established and managed for more than 30 years and counting; After School/Summer Camp.

• Head Start- created and worked as director of the Family Day Care program (10 years/18 day care homes). Was one of the first three original Family Day Care systems in Worcester County, Mass.

• The program was used as a “state model” when Massachusetts first implemented the USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program for Family Day Care Providers.

• Responsible to implement one of 4 Demonstration Voucher Day Care Projects for Massachusetts, designed the “Voucher form” and polices and procedures. Interfaced with the Mass Departments of Public Welfare, Office for Children, DSS, and others to get cooperation. This project was chosen as the most successful and implemented on a State wide basis. However, the State has made numerous changes to the program (implementing many policies and procedures that the original Demonstrations did not require and were part of the reasons the other 3 Demos weren’t chosen), but many of the basic premises still form the foundation of this valuable state subsidy program.
